new house, new brother, new beginning

Well today was very interesting, First off we went to church as always, ate dinner, and basically did our own thing. Shortly after that we had a horrible thunder storm that took out our power. So the rain slacks off, and Deci, and his social worker pulls up . Turns out he's staying here for a week. So after the rain totally slacked off, dad called a "family meeting. It was about the new house that we've decided on. We went over who gets what room, and all that stuff. There was a huge fight about rooming assignments. No one wanted to share a room, and everyone wanted to pick which room they get, Mom and Dad wanted there to be extra space but no one wanted to room with each other. It was madness. Just imagine 6 people screaming at each other, about to tare each other heads off, it's a pretty graphic image, but it's basically what was going on at that time

So this is how it eventually worked out

So, Trey sleeps in the guest room, i have my own room, when Deci gets settled in he has his own room, Gracie has her own room for now (she has to share when Carly Joan comes) and we have another game room, and mom and dads room. The dogs stay in the game room, and when Colby come he stays with Deci. Then we have this huge back yard with a pool, and the front yard drive way is perfect for basketball. It's a great house that we all agreed on. We'll be moved in by Christmas.

So after all of that was established we played a game called Chugiak outside. It's like kickball, but with a twist. Today was rather crazy, but you have to remember It's the Daily Life of a McClendon.

So the Absolute Truth of Today is : Truth can not be found where there is disagreement, but when 2 agree then truth is definitely there.
